A Christmas Crib set to die for if you like squares

The Chapel of St Peter and St Paul at the Old Royal Naval College (ORNC), in Greenwich, UK commissioned designer Sebastian Bergne to create a Christmas crib.

This crib set “makes use of our learned experience from exposure to thousands of images, toys and Christmas cards over the years,” according to Bergne.

“Set in the neoclassical interior of the Chapel, this contemporary interpretation of the nativity will contrast impressively with its surroundings providing a thought provoking alternative to the figurative versions we know so well.”

Have a look. You can have one for $169.00.

The ORNC is one of the top 20 visitor attractions in the UK and welcomes over 1.8 million visitors a year to its free attractions – the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre, Painted Hall and Chapel.

Every year over 8,000 schoolchildren take part in inspiring workshops, 80 musical events are performed in the Chapel, and over 60 weddings and 50 filming and photography shoots are held at the ORNC.
