One Response to First Homily: Pope Francis urges Church to return to Gospel roots

  1. J.Hannah says:

The Church is Now at War.
I suppose it is inevitable that as society becomes more acquisitive and our teachers pass on to our children the idea that the child’s duty is to their own rights and they are not required to have any corresponding responsibility, that many within our Church and disproportionately our teachers including those who preach on Sundays have decided that they have a right to express opinions and demand changes to our Church which are completely opposed to The Word of God.
I am told that many of these hold views that are so contrary to scripture that it is surprising that not only do they wish to remain “Catholic” but that those in authority within The Church who should at least roundly and publicly condemn them or even invite them to find another platform for their pagan views (you know excom.. fire them) are supportive of their positions within The Church’s teaching fraternities and institutions.
Isn’t it time that the laity started telling our teachers that they are going too far in allowing instruction in “feminist theology” to be incorporated into religious instruction in The Catholic Church. I don’t think even our Bishops can show where our Bible espouses any of the muddled thinking upon which these increasingly powerful groups base their philosophies and continue to disseminate their heretical views to our innocent children.
