2 Responses to Removal of US archbishop called for in full page ad

  1. Gwen Story says:

It is shameful that self-styled "prominent" Catholics had the gall to place the ad in the newspaper to ask Pope Francis to replace Archbishop Cordileone simply because he is courageously defending Catholic teachings.

  2. Joe Hannah says:

A poll in the secular San Francisco Chronicle asks whether Abp. Cordileone should be removed from office. Results show almost 90 percent of voters reject the removal of the archbishop, while only 13 percent support his removal.
LifeSiteNews is collecting signatures and funds for a full-page letter to Pope Francis in the San Francisco Chronicle supporting the city's archbishop.
The proposed letter expresses gratitude for the "invaluable gift" of Archbishop Cordileone’s service as shepherd to Bay Area Catholics. "Since Archbishop Cordileone's installation, he has challenged us to better model our lives on the compassionate love of Christ and the teachings of His Church," the letter states.
