    Please bring the Lord’s Prayer back to the venacular. No one in my English speaking world uses ‘thee’ or ‘thy’!

    I still don’t understand why we need an alternative translation of the Missal when the current translation was only introduced in Advent 2011. The current translation is scripturally and theologically rich and a marked improvement on the translation from 1970.

      Yep, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Maybe we just need to upskill in our understanding of the English language to fully appreciate the translation we now have?
