The event, involving 239 couples and several priests, took place on the property of St Filomena Church in Mena.

The main reason for the combined wedding was the desire to assist the issuing of marriage certificates by the state.

Nuptial Mass for gays, $750... Read more]]> Suspended Catholic priest, Geoffrey Farrow is selling a Catholic Nuptial Mass for gays and heterosexuals.

A Nuptial Mass costs $750 and secular wedding services cost only US$500.

Farrow, a former military chaplain and priest for 25 years was suspended back in 2008 over his support for gay marriage.

While offering nuptial masses for sale on his website, Farrow continues to support gay rights and is openly opposed to the Catholic Church's teach on sexuality.

Recently, in an entry entitled "Apostles of Hate," Farrow lambasted critics of California's new law mandating history textbooks to include homosexual figures.

"Pop open a bottle of Champaign (sic) and raise a toast to Maggie Gallagher's new job search and the defeat of NOM (and its puppet masters in the Mormon & Catholic leadership)."

Farrow says says that all the Catholic wedding rites can be adapted for gay couples.
