Hundreds of family, friends and fellow members of the Kerala community, in saris and suits and with tears in their eyes, filled the aisle as well as the pews of Ellerslie's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for the prayer service on Monday.

Aldrich died on Friday afternoon following an as-yet unexplained playground accident at Angels Childcare Centre on Auckland's North Shore. Continue reading
