The Methodist Church Standing Committee met on Monday meeting at Epworth House in Suva to appoint a chair for the Bose Ko Viti or annual conference.Senior clerics had been asked not to chair the meeting.  The deputy general secretary, Tevita Banivanua, said police phoned the church last Thursday singling out the  Ame Tugaue, the general secretary, Tuikilakila Waqairatu, and Manasa Lasaro.
