“Journeying into prayer” book launched in Wellington

The foyer of Sacred Heart Cathedral Wellington was abuzz on Friday evening as people gathered for the blessing and launch of “Journeying into Prayer – People and their Pathways,” the most recent publication from  Catholic Institute of Theology and Accent Publications.

Editor, Neil Darragh, spoke about the ideas and concept behind this little gem and inviting five of the writers present, Margaret Butler, Elizabeth Julian, Trish McBride, James Lyons and Pushpa Woods to share the essence of their contributions.

“The variety of writers show how prayer can be varied and adventurous” Darragh said.

“Authors from Christianity and other world religions write about what shapes their prayer and therein lies inspiration, challenge and enrichment for the reader.”
