Christian boys choir performs for the cats of the world

Give your cat a treat and let it listen to this remarkable performance by the French Christian boys choir Les petits chanteurs la croix de bois (PCCB) also known as “The Little Singers Of Paris”.  My cat was most impressed.

You’re going to be smiling as soon as you hear this boys’ choir sing! They are solemnly dressed in robes, but what when they sing, they sound like cats! It’s just too funny. Have a listen

It has been  suggested that the sound is dubbed. but it isn’t.

Duetto buffo di due gatti (Humorous Duet for Two Cats), is attributed to Rossini but it was probably a composition by Robert Lucas de Pearsall  based on Rossini’s 1816 opera Otello.

The boys doing the singing. They’re Hyacinthe de Moulins (the blonde boy) and Régis Mengus (the dark-haired boy).  Régis is now an opera singer and it seems Hyacinthe  married this May – this has got to be him, the face is the same.
