Child unhurt after falling into Cardinal Pio’s grave

Three Sundays ago, Sala’s 19-month-old grandson, Willie Sala Vaimili, was at church with his parents for the 9.30am Mass. At that time, he fell into the late Cardinal Pio’s grave, which is inside the Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

A former Cabinet Minister, Sala Vaimili II, is certain that he has seen a “miracle.”

And he credits it largely to the grace of God and the late Cardinal Pio Taofinu’u, whom he described as a “saint.” Continue reading
