5 Simpsons religion episodes that are worth another look

The Gospel according to the Simpsons author Mark Pinsky says the series showcases America’s religious diversity while also demonstrating its historic Protestant core – as represented by Ned Flanders and his family.

Much of the Simpsons religious humour satirises aspects of Christianity and religion in general.

However, some episodes, such as “Bart Sells His Soul” and “Alone Again, Natura-Diddily“, can be interpreted as having a spiritual theme.
