In a social experiment, YouTuber Yousef Saleh Erakat posed as a homeless man and tried to give out money to passers-by.
The reactions to his generosity in this five-minute video are shockingly negative.
One man in a suit and talking on a cell phone is offered money by the actor.
He responds aggressively, swearing at Erakat, and saying:”I could… buy you.”
The stranger throws the bill back at him.
Erakat says that in society it’s acceptable to give money to the homeless, but he questions whether it’s only acceptable because one individual thinks they are better than the other person. Continue reading
