Three priests ordained in Christchurch

On Saturday 5th December before a full church at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, Deacons Do Nguyen, Tien Cao and Thanh Tran were ordained to priesthood.

These are the first of our Vietnamese men to be ordained to priesthood, after arriving over seven years ago to learn English before entering Holy Cross Seminary.

The church was full of family who had travelled from Vietnam as well as many others who have travelled from Australia and from across New Zealand. Read more
