Controversial show ‘Preacher’ gets Christians hot under the collar

A controversial new TV show that depicts religion in brutally violent, sexually explicit way has received a blessing and a curse from one of the men of the cloth that it mocks.

Preacher, which aired for the first time on Lightbox recently, depicts God as a villain and The Preacher as a hard-drinking, chain-smoking whose ultimate goal is to find and defeat God on his throne in Heaven. Continue reading
