It is a well known fact that you shouldn’t walk under a ladder. Now it seems you should not loiter under church towers.
A 20-kilogram minute hand has fallen off a clock on a Hamburg’ St Katharinen church tower, plunging 130 feet onto the footpath.
No one was hurt. Fire officials checked the remaining hour hand on the clock and determined that it was firmly in place. Source
