Emma Josephine Zuroski and Andrew Philip Norman were married Saturday by the Rev. Bernard Kiely, a Roman Catholic priest, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Auckland, New Zealand.
The bride, 29, works in London for UBS, the Swiss bank, helping to allocate its internal resources. She is also studying for a Ph.D. in science and technology studies at Cornell. She graduated from Brown and received a master’s in science, technology and society from Imperial College London.
She is a daughter of Patricia Yuan Zuroski of Riverdale, the Bronx, and the late Gregory A. Zuroski. The bride’s father was the director of alumni relations at the Horace Mann School in Riverdale. Her mother is the director of diversity initiatives at Horace Mann.
The groom, 30, is a senior international circulation executive at IPC Media, the publisher of Hello and other magazines, in London. He graduated from the University of Otago in North Dunedin, New Zealand.
He is a son of Wendy J. Norman and Philip J. Norman of Auckland, where his father is the managing director of Nortek Management Services.
