In the advertisement, Wahlberg sat in a church and prayed to God. This resulted in a surge of downloads as people were curious to try the app.
Following the advertisement’s success, Wahlberg and actor Jonathan Roumie, who both lead worldwide prayer meditations on the app, appeared on the Fox and Friends show. During the interview, they discussed some of the comments they received about religion.
