In a “very rare” ruling, the Catholic Church has found a nun guilty of sexually abusing a child in her care. Following an inquiry, the Catholic Church has ruled Mother Lucia guilty of historic sexual and physical abuse against a Christchurch schoolboy “on the balance of probabilities”.
